Clarence P. Cazalot, Jr. is president and chief executive officer of Marathon Oil Corporation. He also is a member of the Marathon Oil Corporation board of directors, and serves as a member of the Marathon Ashland Petroleum LLC board of managers.

Mr. Cazalot joined USX and Marathon Oil in March 2000. Prior to that, he had been a vice president of Texaco Inc., and president of the company’s worldwide production operations since January 1999.

He is a native of New Orleans and was graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor of science degree in geology.

Mr. Cazalot serves on the Boards of Directors of Baker Hughes, the US-Saudi Arabian Business Council, the American Petroleum Institute, the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), and the Greater Houston Partnership, the Board of Trustees of Spindletop Charities, Inc., the Board of Advisors for the Maguire Energy Institute, and the Board of Directors of the Sam Houston Area Council, Boy Scouts of America.

He is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, the Texas Governor’s Business Council, the National Petroleum Council, the 25 Year Club of the Petroleum Industry, and the All-American Wildcatters organization.

Roland Rodriguez
Founding Member - Mir, Fox & Rodriguez, P.C.


Roland Rodriguez is the managing principal and a founding member of Mir, Fox & Rodriguez P.C. (MFRPC), one of Houston’s largest locally owned professional CPA and consulting firms. MFRPC is also recognized as one of the largest Hispanic/women owned CPA firms in the United States

Prior to establishing MFRPC, Mr. Rodriguez spent 10 years at KPMG as a certified public accountant. During his professional career, Mr. Rodriguez has served clients in numerous industries including real estate, technology, manufacturing, financial and retail. He has also served as a senior financial and business advisor on numerous domestic and international merger and acquisition transactions. As a trusted business advisor to his clients, Mr. Rodriguez is involved as a key coordinator for many of his clients’ business activities relating to financing, strategic planning, personal estate planning and other related business matters.

Mr. Rodriguez also has experience in various senior management positions and currently is a board member of several professional and civic organizations to include Americ an Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Texas Society of CPA’s, Board Member Greater Houston Partnership, Board Member Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. President, Leadership 2000 Mentorship Program, Former board member - University of St. Thomas, Leadership Houston Class VII, Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting and the Houston Technology Center – Advisory Board. Mr. Rodriguez received his bachelor of art’s degree from Lamar University.
