3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. – “Straight Talk” with Johnson Control – Come here Johnson Control’s diversity business team and procurement personnel as they provide an overview of the diversity strategy, purchasing plans and current sourcing opportunities. This event will be held at the George R. Brown Convention Center. All registered EXPO attendees are invited to attend.
4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Private Reception for all EXPO Sponsors at Artista – Be apart of the private reception that will honor our special guest, EXPO 2004 Sponsors and EXPO 2004 Reception sponsors

5:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. - EXPO Reception - Join HMBC and it's elite Minority Business Enterprises in a networking reception. Socialize with decision makers of major corporations, governmental agencies and resource organizations participating in EXPO. The reception will be at Artista (Downtown), 800 Bagby @ Rusk, Houston, TX.
Parking will be limited. Metro will be providing shuttles from the George R. Brown beginning at 4:30 to Artista and the last shuttle will leave Artista at 9:15 p.m

EXPO 2004 Day’s Activities
7:15 a.m. - 8:15 a.m - Networking Breakfast - Start your day with a hearty breakfast, good contacts and lots of fun as we recognize our EXPO 2004 sponsors. Be there for the festive opening ceremonies as our General Chairpersons set the tone for our efforts at EXPO 2004, and as City Council declares September 25th Minority Business Development Day in Houston, Texas.
8:30 a.m. Ribbon Cutting - Join in the procession as we cut the ribbon and officially open a full day of business networking.
8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.Products EXPO - The morning hours of EXPO 2004 will provide MBE sellers of products the opportunity to meet with appropriate buyers at the booths of exhibiting major corporations and government agencies.
9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m One-to-One Sessions - Fifteen minute personal meetings with a five minute break are set between exhibitors seeking specific products or services and MBEs capable of meeting those needs.
1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m . Services EXPO - The afternoon hours of EXPO 2004 will enable MBE service firms the opportunity to meet with appropriate buyers and contract managers at the booths of exhibiting major corporations and government agencies.
